Promotion Book

Each exhibitor is strongly encouraged to develop a show special or promotion available to dealers. Please review these suggestions and comments, and contact Kent Ratliff with any questions. 317-579-1131, ratliff@isgroup.org.

RDC Vendors

We encourage you to develop a show give-away, rather than additional discounts, etc. that are difficult to manage with the RDC program. For example, create a coupon that dealers will bring to your booth to enter into a drawing. Use the time they are in your booth to discuss their purchase activity with you, show them new products, or additional margin opportunities they might not have considered before. Make the give-away exciting, and give the dealers a reason to come to your booth! Make sure you do everything you can to help increase your penetration into the dealers' purchasing plans.

Non-RDC Vendors

We encourage you to develop a promotion that addresses additional discounts, free freight, or any number of additional incentives to buy. Or, if this is not feasible for your company, consider a drawing for a great prize that the dealers can win. Have a new product to introduce? Tie your promotion into it. Come up with a ‘carrot’ to get the dealers into your booth, and into conversation with your reps.

Furniture Vendors

We encourage you to consider some kind of promotion as well. This category, of course, offers its own promotional show challenges, but we know you have the creativity to come up with a great opportunity for both your reps to sell your products to the dealers, and for dealers to walk away with a great deal on an order or a great prize.

Everyone

Remember, we can get the dealers to the meeting city, and do everything we can to keep them in the exhibit hall. But it takes your collective efforts to provide the dealers with great reasons to come to the show and visit you at your booths. Incentives work! So get your marketing folks thinking about how to create a super ad sheet that will showcase your products and services, and draw the dealers into your booth.

Your promotion or ad sheet will be reproduced and delivered to each is.group dealer prior to the meeting in Phoenix. Please review these criteria when developing your promotion:

  • 8.5x11 page
  • Black & white copy and photos
  • May be single or double sided
